Upgraded Camcorder Business Nokia 6230i
The Nokia 6230i offers what Nokia calls "Portrait
image caller ID". This means you have the option of seeing
a pre-set picture of the person who's calling you. However, the
real show stopper is the camcorder facility which allows recording
of moving pictures and sound using the 3GPP specification.
Apart from the greatly improved joystick,
the key difference between Nokia 6230 and 6230i lies in the imaging
capabilities, both in terms of pictures you take and the display
you look at. The Nokia 6230i has a 1.3 megapixel camera on-board
and the phone's display has two and half times more the number
of pixels than the 6230.
The Music Player
The Nokia 6230i has an integrated
music player which supports different music formats including
MP3 and AAC, which can even be used as ringtones! The built in
32Mb of memory is expandable up to 512Mb, and there is even an
FM radio built in!
A Classic
The Nokia 6230i is the latest advance
of Nokia's business orientated phones having a more subtle and
classic design . Besides,The changeable Xpress-onT
colour covers give you an opportunity to go for a changed look
occasionally!.
Email

allows you to send and receive emails using just your phone. It
is compatible with any POP3 email account.
Mobile Internet

advanced browser technology for HTML and WAP enabling you can
access internet content from your favourite websites or network
WAP portal
The handset also supports the X-HTML browser
which is capable of displaying richer and more interesting content
than just a normal WAP browser.
GPRS & EDGE
The Nokia 6230i Communicator supports
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) which gives you a virtually
permanent data connection, and you will only be charged for the
amount of data that you transfer, and not the amount of time that
you're online!
It is also one of the first phones available
with EDGE support, an upgradation to GPRS networks!
Colour Display
The Nokia 6230i uses a brand new
high-resolution 65k TFT colour display with 208 x 208 pixels bringing
high quality viewing for the first time to a Nokia phone of this
size.
Pop-Port TM Interface..

connector to support new advanced functionalities such as stereo
audio, fast data connectivity and digital accessory identification
The USB connectivity has been enhanced as this now supports plug
and play connectivity without the need to install drivers to enable
you to do regular tasks such as file transfers from PC to phone.
Push to talk
The Nokia 6230i supports Push-to-talk
Over Cellular-a new standard which allows groups of mobile phone
users to communicate with each other simply by pushing a button
and speaking, just like a walkie talkie.
